MOHIT CHAURASIA, MANAGING PARTNER

Corporate Lawyer with multi-facet work experience of over nine years and a member of The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India. He specializes in corporate and commercial laws including advisory services on foreign direct investment, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, handling inbound and outbound transactions, employment laws, conducting due diligence and appearing before Courts, quasi- judicial authorities and various government authorities.

Have co-authored on book titled "Companies Act, 2013 - Knowing the Changes" detailing provisions on the Companies Act, 2013 with Vaish Associates, Advocates.

Have also been delivering lectures and involved in discussions on subjects such as Companies Act, FEMA etc. at various chapters of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and other forums.

Have also been involved in framing of policy issues and drafting documents related to "Report of Expert Group on Streamlining Prosecution Mechanism" under the Companies Act, 1956 and "Concept Paper on New Company Law", constituted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

Prior experience encompasses working as Senior Associate of Vaish Associates, Advocates, a law firm specialising in taxation and corporate matters and in that position have lead Corporate-Regulatory and Compliance Team.
